Waterproof 90% is made up of 90% grade shade cloth with a resin coating on one side to create the waterproof membrane. It’s a great choice for situations requiring heavy duty shade as well as shelter from rain or splashing.

Our Waterproof 90% shade cloth has been treated with a strong UV stabilised resin on one side to create a waterproof barrier while the top side consists of heavy-duty HDPE shade cloth which is made to last. This 90% shade is a great option for when you need high-quality shade in any weather or near the pool.  Make sure to always install this shade cloth with the resin side facing down.

Due to the knitted construction of the shade cloth and the flexibility of the resin layer, this item is likely to stretch and the resin will tear if it is put under too much stress – this can happen if water builds up and pools on top of the shade cloth. For this reason, waterproof shade cloth should never be installed horizontally. It should only be installed with a 20°+ slope. This shade cloth is not suitable to be placed under tension such as being used as a shade sail or for blocking wind.

This shade cloth is popular for creating shade for people and pets. It will work perfectly for pergolas, vertical blinds, or for shading outdoor areas like BBQs or dining.
